About the Tournament

Date: October 8th - October 11th, in parallel with the Fall Norm Invitational

Bellevue School District and Seattle schools are a no-school day on 10/9 for a state in-service day. For those with conflicting work or school schedules, we suggest taking byes in rounds 1 & 2.

Location: Sonesta Select Seattle Bellevue Redmond, 14615 NE 29th Pl, Bellevue, WA 98007

Format: A 7-Round Single Swiss in 1 section. FIDE + USCF Rated. Default time: 60 mins.

Time Control: G/90 + 30s increment for the entire game

Entry Fee: $125 before 10/1, $150 after. FIDE 2100+ $25 discount if registered before 10/1.

Schedule:‍ Round 1: 10/8 THURSDAY, 6pm

Round 2: 10/9 FRIDAY, 12pm

Round 3: 10/9 FRIDAY, 6pm

Round 4: 10/10 SATURDAY, 12pm

Round 5: 10/10 SATURDAY, 6pm

Round 6: 10/11 SUNDAY, 12pm

Round 7: 10/11 SUNDAY, 6pm

Other: 2 HPB available, please notify TD or organizer before the start of Round 2.

36 players max, please register early. Active USCF membership required.

Players must have an active FIDE rating to participate. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the organizer.

Refunds for withdrawals are subject to a $10 processing fee. No refunds after 5pm 10/7/26.

By participating in the tournament, players acknowledge that they may be subject to photos/videos for social media. Please notify the organizer if you wish not to appear in photos/videos.
